1pm – U12/U14 Boys and Girls 2km

1:30pm – U16/U18 Boys and Girls 4km

2:00pm – All Ages 1km, 2km, 4km, 6km

2:40pm – 55+/65+/75+ Men and Women 4km

3:10pm – U20, Open, 35+, 45+ Women 6km

3:40pm – U20, Open, 35+, 45+ Men 6km

ONLINE ENTRY FEES

All Ages 1km – $10

All Ages 2km, 4km, 6km – $20

Member Entry for 2km, 4km, 6km Waratah events – $20

Non-Member Entry for 2km, 4km, 6km Waratah events – $30

ON THE DAY ENTRY

On the day entry is available at the registration desk. An on the day entry must be submitted at least 45 minutes before the start of the race.

On the day entry will be $30 members/$40 non-members.

ELIGIBILITY

Members entering the Waratah events, and to be eligible for scoring Winter Premiership/Trophy points, are to be registered with Athletics NSW (or other state member association or Little Athletics NSW) for the 2017-18 season.

Please note that all runners will be supplied a unique set of event-specific bibs, to be worn on the front and back of their uniform.

TAG TIMING

All runners will receive a new Timing Tag on the day, as well as a set of unique event-specific bibs, to be worn at the Run Festival.

Please note that no tags previously issued to ANSW members may be worn at this event.

It is important to note that the Number on the Timing Tag will not match the number on the Athlete’s Bib.

All runners will be required to report to athlete check in at least 45 minutes prior to the race start time to collect a temporary timing tag and their event-specific bibs. This tag must be returned at the conclusion of the race.

PARTICIPANT CHECK-IN

This tag must be returned at the conclusion of the race. The event-specific bibs do not have to be returned.

Live results for this event will be posted here on the day of the event.

MEDAL PRESENTATION:

This event is not a NSW Championship and as such no medals will be awarded.

FOOD, BEVERAGE AND ENTERTAINMENT

This event will include on the day activations such as jumping castles, food and drink stalls, captivating race callers as well as entertaining music.

NSW WINTER PREMIERSHIP & WINTER TROPHY

Races included in the Run Festival will be point scoring events towards the Winter Premiership, Winter Trophy and Distance Runner of the Year. The age groups and race distances are as follows:

U12, U14 – Waratah 2km Event

U16, U18, 55+, 65+, 75+ – Waratah 4km Event

U20, Open, 35+, 45+ – Waratah 6km Event

AGE GROUPS

The non-championship races are offered in the following age groups: U12, U14, U16, U18, U20, Open, 35+, 45+, 55+, 65+, and 75+.

RUN NSW MEMBERSHIP

Free entry into 6 Greater Fun Runs, Sydney10, and Sydney Half, 50% discount for Walka, Western Sydney Marathon and all other RunNSW events!
