Hosted by RunNSW and supported by parkrun Australia, TRACKrun will feature a series of graded 5K events held on the brand new blue track at Sydney Olympic Park Athletic Centre (Warm Up Track). Please Note: Runners should arrive 30 Minutes before their event to collect their Number and Tag timing.

What is TRACKrun?
This event, put on by Athletics NSW & Run NSW and supported by parkrun Australia, is designed for people of all abilities to try running on the track and break their 5km parkrun PB!
Note that this is not an official parkrun. It will not count towards your parkrun milestone shirt, and your barcode is not required. Its the one time you can say ‘DO forget your barcode!’
5K (or 12 and half laps), is a distance that suits all levels and all ages particularly those that regularly compete in parkrun events. TRACKrun will feature 5-6 graded races based on your entry time.
Following your run there is then the opportunity to go across to the main stadium and watch the NSW 5000m Championships. TRACKrun will have a welcoming & relaxed atmosphere. Most importantly, be ready to have some fun and try and beat your PB!
Online entry will close at midnight Thursday 11 February.
Please note, all entries must be submitted online. Late entries MAY be accepted on the day if vacancies remain, but they are not guaranteed.
Cost of entry into the RunNSW 5k is $20.
Timing will be done via the Athletics NSW timing system with results made available shortly after each wave.
The final timetable for the TRACKrun 5K events will be drawn up at the completion of online entries which close 11:59pm Thursday 11 February.
As such, on the day entries are not guaranteed and will be accepted only if there is room in the races. On the day entries will cost $35.

Wave 1: 4:00- 4:45 pm
Wave 2: 4:45 5:20 pm
Wave 3: 5:20- 5:50pm
Wave 4: 5:50 6:25pm
Wave 5: 6:25- 6:50pm
Wave 6: 6:50- 7:15pm
PLEASE NOTE: These times are subject to change depending on the number of entries.
This should be used as a guide only. The final timetable and entry list informing you of your start time will be emailed after entries close on Friday 12 February and put on the website here.

PLEASE NOTE: Runners will be seeded according to the time they enter when registering. Start waves will be seeded so the fastest run will be last.
There will also be pacers in each event to help runners crack their 5K PB! Pacers will be set to run 45min, 40 min, 35 min, 30 min, 25 min , 20 min and 17:00 minutes! So jump on board the train and smash your PB !
Athletics NSW is excited to have The Running Hub Potts Point as the official partner of the TRACKrun 5k. The Running Hub will be randomly giving away a number of Nike running shoes to help you keep up your training.
Athletics NSW is excited to have Nike as a partner for the event. Nike will have the ‘Collis BirmingVAN’ down at the track which will provide you with the ability to try and test the latest Nike footwear. Nike will also be giving away some goodies!
The Sydney Olympic Park Athletics Centre warm up venue lies within the Sydney Olympic Park precinct.
The closest parking to SOPAC is the P1 and P2 parking stations. Both P1 and P2 parking stations are within 300m of SOPAC where all the action is taking place!
SOPAC is around 400 metres walk from the Sydney Olympic Park Train Station. Please ensure you check the city rail train timetable for details.
